What can I do?<br> A: Unfortunately, not all rooms will work for playing Party Versus. We recommend playing in a rectangular space with one accessible corner, connected walls, and a reasonable amount of open space in your room.</p>\n<p>If your current room isn’t working, try a different space. If you keep running into issues, please open a ticket on this page.</p>\n<p>Q: I keep hitting things in my room when I play, what can I do?<br> A: Make sure your room is set up correctly; that your walls are where your walls are and that ALL your furniture is defined and labeled. Defining all of your furniture during Space Set-Up is important to make sure you can reach anything that appears during gameplay.</p>\n<p>In the Room page of the Settings Menu you can change the Safeguard Sensitivity to be higher, allowing you to see your real-world environment fade in more as you approach a wall. If you’re in a darker room, we recommend you use a higher value.</p>\n<p>On the other hand, if you want the real world to distract you LESS, set that Safeguard Sensitivity value to be lower.</p>\n<p>You may also want to reposition your Party Lounge; for instance, if you sit too close to a corner of your room, some UI elements may be obscured by your defined furniture or walls.</p>\n<p>Q: Something seems off with my avatar. What can I do?<br> A: Crouching weirdly or not at all? When prompted, make sure you calibrate your height while standing.</p>\n<p>Arms purple? Make sure you've edited your avatar recently so any updates have taken effect. If you’re also seeing an error around “authentication”, don’t see your profile picture in our Party Prep, or see a pop-up when trying to matchmake, there might be an outage with some Meta services.</p>\n<p>Q: I’m not sure how to play a minigame.<br> A: Once your party has chosen a minigame to play, you’ll see your spaces come together. Before you pull your party rope to start playing, make sure you read the poster that’s floating next to it; that breaks down how the game works. You’ll also see a time limit, general scoring information, and who is on which teams when applicable.</p>\n<p>Still confused? Ask other partygoers; they might have valuable strategies or tips to try out.</p>\n<p>Q: I don’t want to play with strangers. Can I just invite friends to play with me?<br> A: Yes! If you want to invite a friend specifically, you can use the HOST postcard to host a private lobby, and send your friend the Party Code which they can enter using the JOIN postcard in-game.</p>\n<p>Q: How can I matchmake and play with other people?<br> A: Once you’ve finished Party Prep and are on your Party Lounge, you can use one of three postcards to matchmake:</p>\n<p>The FIND postcard will matchmake you with other players in Public parties, or start you in a Public party.</p>\n<p>If you HOST a party, you can use the Party Menu to make it Public; otherwise, it will be Private, and players can only JOIN a party if you give them the code.</p>\n<p>If you've already voted on a game mode, your party has started as Private. But if you have fewer than 4 players and want new people to join, the host player can END PARTY, keeping the same players in together in one session, then use the same Party Menu to change the party to Public. New users should then be able to matchmake in or join.</p>\n<p>Q: A player online is bothering me. What can I do?<br> A: You can mute them using the Party Menu, the Host can Kick them out, and you can report players by pressing the Quest button and selecting Report Abuse in your headset’s universal menu. Remember: if you ever feel unsafe, leave the party!</p>\n<p>Q: I’m streaming the game. What should I keep in mind?<br> A: Want to hide your lobby code on your cast?
